Portfolio

Impactful personality profiles, readable training how-to articles, informative horse industry portraits, and more are my bread and butter. As an avid equine magazine reader, I write with someone like me in mind no matter the assignment. I write for more than a dozen magazines, producing long features on every aspect of the equine lifestyle.

Writing and providing photographs for Western equine and lifestyle publications is my specialty. Since 2010, I’ve worked to promote Western performance horses and the equine industry through full time and freelance positions. From 2010-2012, I served as assistant editor at Western Horseman, then moved into a freelance role that broaden my byline to more than a dozen publications. In 2021, I took on the role of Communications Manager for the National Reined Cow Horse Association and in that role, I managed the NRCHA’s member magazine Reined Cow Horse News. Today, I work with eight to 10 magazines annually to provide content to readers.

Take a look at the variety of articles!
